SAEN submitted its objection on 10th December and it is now available for you to read.

The advertised deadline for submissions was 10th December, but the Council has promised to consider all submissions up to the date of the Development Control Committee’s meeting to decide the application, currently expected to be 20th January 2010. If you haven’t yet submitted your objection, please get it in quickly!

The Background

Stobart has submitted a planning application to extend the runway at Southend Airport, ignoring the fact that we are half way through a consultation to decide the airport’s future. The application can be viewed on the Southend Borough Council website. As the link is extremely long, we have provided a shorter more convenient address:
